PRESS RELEASE

December 18, 2025

GIS Engineering, LLC is pleased to announce the acquisition of Engineering & Inspection Services (EIS), effective Monday, December 8, 2025. This strategic partnership brings together two respected organizations with deep roots in engineering, field services, and technical solutions across the Gulf South and the broader United States.

A Strategic Partnership

This acquisition marks an exciting step forward for GIS Engineering as we strengthen our capabilities and foster a more collaborative, integrated technical environment across our organization. The combined expertise of GIS Engineering and EIS will enhance our ability to provide comprehensive, end-to-end engineering and field support, while ensuring a smooth and seamless transition for employees, clients, and partners. The addition of EIS’s Beaumont, Texas office further strengthens GIS Engineering’s presence in the Golden Triangle, supporting targeted growth and enhanced service delivery across one of the Gulf Coast’s most active industrial corridors.

Dustin Malbrough | GIS Chief of Technical Services

“Bringing EIS into our GIS Engineering family accelerates our long-term growth strategy. The added scale, expertise, and geographic reach give us the depth of resources needed to move faster, deploy technology more effectively, and support our clients with expanded capabilities across the full project lifecycle.”

A Unified Team

As we move forward, EIS employees, clients, and ongoing projects will transition into GIS Engineering with continuity and care. Both companies share a commitment to safety, integrity, and operational excellence, and these shared values will guide our integration process. We look forward to leveraging our collective strengths to deliver expanded capabilities and enhanced value to our customers. By combining talent, technology, and industry experience, we are setting the stage for continued growth and innovation across engineering, inspection, and technical service offerings.

This acquisition reflects GIS’s long-term strategy to invest in people, technology, and partnerships that elevate the level of service we provide. We are confident that bringing EIS into the GIS family of companies will create meaningful opportunities for growth, collaboration, and technical advancement for many years to come.

EIS Co-Founder and CEO, Joe Brinz, is equally excited to integrate company experience with GIS Engineering.

Joe Brinz | EIS Co-Founder & CEO

“The alignment between GIS and EIS—both culturally and technically—made this partnership a natural fit. By combining multidisciplinary engineering and design expertise with EPC capabilities, advanced technology, and an in-house High Value Center, we are creating a single, coordinated platform that supports our clients from concept through execution and long-term asset support. This partnership positions us well for continued growth while maintaining the high standards our clients expect.”

A Structured Transition

This acquisition marks only the beginning of our journey in bringing the two companies together as one unified organization. The full integration of GIS Engineering and EIS will progress through Q1 and Q2 of 2026, ensuring a thoughtful, structured, and collaborative transition for all involved. As we align our teams, systems, and capabilities, we look forward to introducing new efficiencies and a shared culture that reflects the strengths of both organizations. Many exciting developments are ahead as we move through this next chapter together.
