Mark Pregeant

Mark Pregeant II, GIS’s esteemed leader, brings over 25 years of invaluable experience to the table. In his role, he oversees more than 25 service lines and is responsible for over 3,000 team members. Under his visionary leadership, revenues have doubled to nearly $500 million—all while maintaining a steadfast commitment to “Putting People First.” Mark’s dedication to employee welfare and organizational growth has been pivotal to GIS’s success story.

Dan St. Germaine brings substantial experience, including 14 years of dedicated service at GIS and four years at KPMG. With over 21 years in the oil and gas industry, he offers deep expertise and valuable insights that have consistently supported organizational growth, operational excellence, and long-term success.

Dustin Malbrough

Chief of Engineering & Technical Services


Dustin Malbrough, GIS Engineering’s accomplished leader, brings over two decades of civil engineering and leadership expertise to his role as President. Based in Houma, Louisiana, he was appointed to this position in October 2021 after five years as Vice President of Operations, following an earlier tenure as Division Manager of Engineering. Before joining GIS in 2015, Dustin built his career with The Shaw Group and CB&I, beginning as a Project Engineer in 2005 and advancing to Client Program Manager by 2015. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Louisiana State University and an MBA from Nicholls State University. In his current role, Dustin leads GIS Engineering’s technical services group, overseeing engineering, surveying, environmental, and construction portfolios, as well as managing the company’s high-value Center of Excellence in the Philippines. Under his leadership, GIS Engineering has expanded through strategic transactions, including the 2022 acquisition of Chustz Surveying, enhancing capabilities in aerial, hydrographic, and LiDAR services while ensuring cultural and operational alignment. Known for his steadfast commitment to “Putting People First,” Dustin fosters collaboration, innovation, and responsiveness across the organization. His journey from civil engineering graduate to the helm of a multi-disciplinary technical services firm reflects a deep blend of engineering acumen, operational excellence, and strategic growth leadership.

Brad Pregeant

With over 42 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, Brad Pregeant has been a cornerstone at GIS, rising from an entry-level position to become a key member of the executive leadership team. His journey exemplifies the dedication and expertise he has cultivated over decades within the company. In addition, Brad has spent more than a decade serving on the board of directors at SL Bank, underscoring his commitment to leadership and excellence beyond GIS.

Josh Son

Chief of Midstream/Downstream Execution


Josh Son brings more than 20 years of Oil and Gas industry expertise to GIS, where he has played a vital role in advancing business growth and leadership. With over 15 years dedicated to executive account management and personnel development, Josh has consistently championed both client success and employee advancement. Over the past decade at GIS, he has served in senior-level leadership roles focused on business development and, for the last three years, has contributed as part of the executive management team. A graduate of Nicholls State University, where he also competed in collegiate athletics, Josh combines discipline, teamwork, and strategic vision to drive lasting results for GIS.

Robert Blanton

Chief of Staff


Robert Blanton’s career spans multiple industries, with over 15 years in oil and gas, including roles at GIS and BP. He also brings more than five years of experience in power generation and over 13 years in the automotive industry. His academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science from Miami University (Ohio) and an MBA from Wayne State University, reflecting his commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.

Billy Joe Pellegrin

Executive Advisor


Billy Pellegrin’s 25+ year tenure at Edison Chouest Offshore has centered on QHSE, sustainability, business development, operational management, and, most recently, acquisitions. A graduate of Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program (AMP 203), he brings diverse experience from prior roles in the U.S. Navy and paramedicine, along with multiple certifications, including NTSB Investigation certification, a maritime license, and an FAA private pilot license. His extensive background reflects a strong commitment to excellence and versatility within the industry.

Andrew Bruzdzinski

Chief of Upstream Execution


With 35 years of experience supporting the energy industry and maritime operations, Andrew Bruzdzinski’s background includes nine years as a U.S. Coast Guard Officer and 18 years with two publicly traded companies serving the energy sector. He has also spent the past nine years at GIS, contributing across Business Support, Project and Construction Management, Execution Services, and Executive Management. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science in Management from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy and an MBA from the University of New Orleans.

Todd Berthelot

Chief Development Officer


Todd Berthelot's journey spans two decades, blending 23 years of engineering and construction experience with a degree from LSU's EJ Ourso College of Business. As owner of Sun Industries for 15 years and a decade at GIS, he refined entrepreneurial and leadership skills, followed by 3 years of executive management at WHPacific, demonstrating diverse expertise and unwavering commitment to excellence.

Jennifer Schwertz-Ohrin

Chief of Change & Growth Services


Jennifer Schwertz-Ohrin brings 20 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, including 16 years at GIS where she has held a diverse range of leadership roles across both Operations (P&L) and Shared Services (G&A). Her strategic expertise spans restructuring, dynamic growth, cost containment, performance recovery, service line maturity, rapid responsiveness to emerging scenarios, continuous improvement, and fostering psychological safety. Jennifer also brings valuable insights from three years in non-profit and educational sector administration. She holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing and management, an MBA with concentrations in organizational behavior and consumer behavior, and certifications in Lean Six Sigma, Agile Fundamentals, Business Process Analysis, and the Covey Leadership Series.
