Project Overview
- GIS performed front-end engineering, detailed design, procurement and construction support for a greenfield, hydrocarbon truck unloading, storage and pump station facility in South Texas.
- Unique project tasks included:
- Coordinating utilities with local providers
- Providing documents to support the local & state municipalities permitting requirements
- Developing construction scopes of work, and witnessing equipment factory acceptance tests.
- The Client’s property constraints presented a site layout design challenge that was overcome by GIS in-house experience based on working with facility siting contractors, NFPA requirements, local municipality requirements, and Operations & Safety personnel.
