2019 tar

Project Overview

GIS was awarded the planning scope for a major offshore client’s asset. The planning scope consisted of constructability reviews, work pack development, schedule development, offshore construction support, and other miscellaneous support.
The planning work started in late 2018 and lasted through May 2019. The TAR scope consisted of primarily of mechanical, environmental, and E&I scopes. The TAR tasks ranged from operations, maintenance, small capital projects, major capital projects, vessel cleaning, marine, and others. The tasks consisted of piping tie-ins, vessel entry, hot work, and E&I tasks. Although GIS did not execute all scopes, GIS did perform the planning on all scopes. In addition to the planning and construction support, GIS also provided onshore and offshore materials management. The onshore material coordinators verified all materials called out in the work packs and shipped accordingly. The offshore material coordinators received, secured, and staged all materials accordingly.
