GW Integrated Solutions (GWIS) is a 50/50 joint venture between WorleyParsons and GIS. GWIS provides EPC delivery on a portfolio of brownfield projects and modifications in the Gulf of Mexico.
The GWIS team began work in February 2017. As of December 31, 2018, GWIS has completed a total of 287,078 EPC manhours with no injuries or incidents.
EPC project execution includes design, engineering, procurement, and project management completed by JV staff in the Worley Parsons Houston offices. Fabrication, testing, and inspection activities are completed in the GIS fabrication facilities in Abbeville and Galliano, Louisiana. Fabrication includes transportation and logistics from the fabrication yard to the dockside in Fourchon, Louisiana.
GWIS provided significant support and was a key contributor to the planning and execution of the 2018 TAR on the BP Mad Dog facility. The Center of Offshore Safety nominated the Mad Dog TAR execution as a finalist for the 2018 Safety Leadership award. GWIS was also recognized at the 2018 BP Supplier Summit and presented an award for rigorously building ethics and compliance into the EPC program.
GWIS delivered excellent health, safety, and environmental results while conducting work over a large geographical area from Houston to Louisiana to offshore in the Gulf of Mexico. They accomplished this milestone by working closely with our clients, subcontractors, and suppliers and demonstrating a commitment to the Zero Harm philosophy.
Congratulations to the team for obtaining this great achievement, and we look forward to continuing this safety milestone for more years to come!
