We would like to recognize our own Frankie Price, GIS Quality Control & CWI, for his exceptional contributions to the topsides construction portion of the Chevron TVEX project. Frankie has exemplified the type of “fresh eyes” perspective that the industry needs right now to get to the next level of smart, simple & sustainable construction approaches. Virtually every person on the project and on the facility that has worked with Frankie has passed along positive feedback to GIS & TVEX leadership. His attention to detail, pride in quality of work, positive attitude, resilience & drive for continuous improvement are just a few of his noteworthy character traits. Beyond the explicit TVEX cost saving ideas through the CI tracking program—which totaled $4.2MM in savings ideas and $267k in calculated delivered savings—we are confident that he has insured many more millions in efficiencies for Chevron through the quality of the work he touches and the quality culture he inspires around himself.

“On behalf of Chevron’s Gulf of Mexico Business Unit, I would like to extend our gratitude and recognition for the extraordinary efforts that you put forth in 2017 towards identifying tangible cost reduction opportunities. The $4.2MM of cost savings ideas that you contributed clearly stand out as exceptional role-model performance…Your continued support of accomplishing this objective has set the bar high for others to follow. Thanks again for the discretionary effort put forth in this space and know that your contributions have been recognized both within GIS and Chevron’s management.”
